Fighting Lady is a Pelin custom built 28” sport fisher. Purpose built, shaft driven, designed and fitted for game/sports fishing, powered by a Peninsular 320HP Diesel/Turbo inboard, cruise 25 knots. Fully surveyed and provides extra comfort with V berths, 6' headroom, all the on-board facilities (including head and galley) you need to cruise in safety and style. Geared with all top quality fishing equipment and whilst we supply all standard tackle, please feel free to bring your lucky lures, poppers or jigs. Vava’u Sport Fishing Charter provides the best fishing available in Tonga.

International Game Fishing Association (IGFA)
Winners of a qualifying event TIBT (Tongan International Billfish Tournament, held in July annually in Vava’u) will receive an invitation to compete in the IGFA Offshore World Championship. The IGFA Offshore World Championship provides a fun, first class competition for the world’s best anglers. The greatest prize of the tournament is the distinction of being crowned the IGFA Offshore World Champion!
Tonga International Game Fishing Association (TIGFA)
Established in 1989, TIGFA is the governing body for sports fishing in Tonga TIGFA have been keeping records of all fish caught in Tongan waters since their incorporation. Anglers who visit Tonga can join TIGFA for a three weeks period giving them the opportunity to record their catches and in the even of record fish of a record fish have their catch ratified.
Vava’u Sport Fishing Club
VSFC (Vava'u Sport Fishing Club) is affiliated to TIGFA (Tonga International Game Fishing Association) and IGFA (International Game Fish Association).
